I decree and declare,
a lot of hot air,
and I wonder why God doesn’t answer my prayer.
I have asked him for riches
He must surely agree
That he ought now to do what is best now for me.

In my infinite wisdom,
I’ve decided it’s best,
For me to be comfortable, healthy and blessed,
But despite my best efforts,
I just can’t quite see,
Why God won’t accept it’s the best now for me.

So I think it is best now
If all understood,
That if I were in charge everything would be good,
So I hope you are listening
You must hear my tone
I decree and declare that I sit on God’s throne.
